BOM, orders and job cards
Relate bills of material and routings to production orders, work centres, operations and shop-floor updates where the process needs them.
Manufacturing software development in Punjab
We design custom software for manufacturers whose production, stores, job work, quality and order records no longer fit comfortably in separate spreadsheets.
This page describes our development capability. We do not present it as a published manufacturing ERP deployment. The real production path
Two factories making similar products may plan work, issue material and handle rejection differently. Discovery should cover those differences before screens and reports are chosen.
We map the records people already use, the decisions that cause delays and the points where quantities stop matching. The first release can then solve a defined operational problem without pretending to replace every specialist system.
Production and material
Relate bills of material and routings to production orders, work centres, operations and shop-floor updates where the process needs them.
Record receipts, issues, returns, transfers and completed quantities by location without maintaining a second version in a spreadsheet.
Track material sent outside, expected return, received quantity, shortages and the documents attached to each job.
Quality records are useful when they remain connected to the receipt, batch, production order or supplier involved. The system can record inspection results, accepted and rejected quantities, reasons, rework decisions and the final disposition.
Material requirements can inform purchase activity while confirmed orders inform production and dispatch. The exact degree of automation must match how stable the planning rules are. A manager should still be able to see and understand exceptions.
Batch, lot, heat, serial or bundle tracking should be introduced where the business or customer actually requires it. Barcode or QR scanning can reduce entry, but only after labels, locations and handling steps are dependable.
Useful views may include order status, material shortages, pending job work, delayed operations, rejection reasons, stock ageing and dispatch commitments. We define them with the people who make those decisions.
A production application can exchange data with accounting, CRM, ecommerce, machines or a broader ERP system when dependable interfaces exist. Integration scope is checked during discovery rather than assumed.
Ludhiana’s hosiery, textile, bicycle, auto-parts, fabrication and agricultural-equipment businesses do not share one production model. Jalandhar’s tools and sports-goods operations add their own material and subcontracting patterns. Food production brings batch, expiry and compliance needs.
These industry examples guide discovery; they are not claims that one prebuilt product already handles every case. We identify the terms, units, stages and controls used by the specific business.
For one manufacturer it may be material issued against a job card. For another it may be subcontractor tracking or order-to-dispatch visibility. Starting with a boundary people can verify makes later modules safer to add.
Questions
No. It is a custom development service. The scope follows a review of the factory’s actual process and existing systems.
Yes. A smaller first release is often easier to verify, provided shared records and future connections are planned from the start.
They can when the environment and task suit it. We keep these screens focused on a few clear actions and plan for weak connectivity where necessary.
Possibly. We need to inspect the device, protocol or available API before confirming the integration.
